Asian Tour Sweep - Reyes Wins Jakarta

Mutiara Ballroom, Jakarta, Indonesia - A few days after winning the biggest prize money in pool history, the master Efren "Bata" Reyes stamped his class in the 2006 San Miguel Asian 9-Ball Tour, Jakarta Leg. Efren defeated local boy Ricky Yang in the finals winning for himself the $10,000 grand prize and paving the way for the Philippines to record first ever sweep of the tour.

There were 4 official legs in this year's San Miguel 9-Ball Tour and every leg was won by a Filipino. Efren started the trend by winning the Ho Chi Minh City Leg (Vietnam), then Ramil Gallego won the Bangkok leg (Thailand) and then Rodolfo Luat conquered the Kaohsiung Leg (Taiwan).

The tournament ran from September 15 to 17.
