Filipinos Conquered Japan - Lining New Japan Open Boss
Tokyo, Japan - Filipinos conquered Japan through the billiard table, this as Antonio "Nickoy" Lining took top honors in the just concluded 2006 Japan Open 9-Ball Billiards Championship.
Lining defeated compatriot Don Don Razalan, who took home Y600,000 or approximately $5,000, in the finals with the score of 9-3.
Before the all-Filipino final, Nickoy bested the Filipino legend and defending champion, Efren "The Magician" Reyes in the tune of 9-4 in the quarterfinals.
Antonio took home Y1,500,000 or around $13,000 for winning the event.

i was just reading ur blog and its quite impressive. im louis and im a student in far eastern university... i was just thinking if maybe you could help me find sources for my thesis which is about billiards... i am a graduating and an architecture student... i proposed a billiard center for the upcoming world pool championship and a training center for the philippine team. the soyrces in books are limited,actually none... i cant find a thing,in the internet naman, its all about profiles.... i need comments and suggestion on how a billiard center must be...
